I am just so excited!  We have had delivery of the new Alfred Angelo and Phoenix gowns on Friday and they are so amazing for the price they are.. All the staff are amazed that they are all under £750 and some way under. It is great that these designers are coming up with less expensive gowns for our brides that are on a budget. The quality is fabulous and workmanship also excellent so we are more than happy right now.

On the left is a sneak peek at one of the gorgeous new Alfred Angelo gowns, click here to see more! We haven,t images of Phoenix as yet but to be honest yesterday, a very busy Saturday we actually sold three of the samples before we had even got them ironed!!

Just to give you an idea of the type of customer we have into our salon on a pretty average Saturday....my day ran like this.... I was in the maids room yesterday which was great as I love serving all the different maids and I know the gowns selection very well so I served a party of 6, then 4, then flower girls, 5 with 2 juniors that took me up until 1pm and then had a cup of coffee with my next bride from Ireland with her 7 maids as we had a bit of a chat first and by this time I was desperate for a hot drink!  Then at 2.30 I served a bride with a  budget of £400 who selected one of the new Phoenix gowns and then at 3.45 a walk in destination bride that was getting married in 3 weeks time in Africa chose an ex sample because of course we didn't,t have any time to order for her. She was such a lovely lady and I got on so well with her and her friend. Her gown was originally £1000 and she purchased J'adore for oly £499 and she looked realy lovely . Whilst having a quick bite to eat after this, I managed to answer 22 email queries and then I did a remeasure on a simply stunning Enzoani Lace fishtail  at £1,800 and the bride looked breathtaking. Again I got on so well with her mum and by  the time we,d selected a vintage lace side piece and veil, chatted and completed the paperwork , all the staff had gone home and it was 6.45pm!!!  I must say I did expect my dinner cooked when I got home at gone 7pm...but I was a bit annoyed when all the family had done was put the oven on!!!! I was passed a glass of wine on the way in the front door though and that sustained me enough to do the cooking.....us working mums deserve a medal!!!!

We actually had another 5 staff in yesterday and two off sick but I will do another blog with say Jo or Florie,s  typical work day next time as I feel it is important that you our brides can see the various types of customers we see week to week to feel confident in visiting our salon.

 Love Susannexxxx
